FlightGlobal has announced the appointment of Mike Malik to the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Malik will lead the transformation of FlightGlobal’s marketing strategy by taking a more customer-centric approach as part of the company’s go-to-market execution.
Malik brings extensive industry experience. Most recently he sat on the advisory board of Aerobrand, a marketing, design and branding firm focused on airlines and was an Executive Advisor at airline consulting firm, The Rossch Group. His previous roles have included, President of Aloha Air Cargo, Chief Information Officer of Aloha Airlines, CEO of Travelport’s Shepherd Systems, and Chief Commercial Officer for UBM Aviation at the time it owned OAG.
