American Airlines has announced that Julie Rath, Managing Director – Service Recovery, has been named Vice President – Customer Planning. Julie succeeds Tim Lindemann who announced his retirement earlier this year.
In this role, Rath will oversee American’s many teams supporting both customers and frontline team members, including Customer Planning and Analysis and Customer Experience Planning, as well as American’s training, Premium Customer Services and Service Recovery teams.
Rath joined American in 2016 and brings nearly three decades of industry experience to her new position. She earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and a master’s in business administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
