Delta Air Lines has promoted Joe Esposito, Vice President – Network Planning - Americas, to Senior Vice President – Network Planning, effective July 1.
With nearly 30 years at Delta, Esposito began his career in 1990 at Delta in Airport Customer Service in Orlando. As VP-Network Planning, he was responsible for the economic, financial and capacity planning of the airline's domestic system as well as schedule planning.
Esposito will succeed Bob Cortelyou, Senior Vice President – Network Planning, who is retiring from Delta effective July 1. Cortelyou is an airline industry veteran of more than 30 years. Mr. Cortelyou will consult with Delta focusing on its international partnerships and global strategy.
