UPS has announced the appointment of Harrison Park as Managing Director of UPS Korea, succeeding JK Rha, who is retiring after 28 years of service.
Park has held a diverse range of positions in UPS. He started out as Country Operations Team Lead in 1996, was named Country Brokerage Manager in 2003, and represented UPS in the Conference of Asia Pacific Express Carriers (CAPEC) in Korea where he and representatives of other logistics companies worked with Korean Customs to successfully lobby for improved import and export conditions.
In 2006, Park was an Industrial Engineering Manager, and led the Human Resources team in 2011, and was also a training facilitator of UPS’s Manager Leadership Program.
Prior to his current appointment, Park was the Country Gateway Manager until late 2017, when he took on a special assignment at UPS’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
Park holds a Bachelor’s degree from Joongbu University in Chungcheongnam-do.
